Thrifting a Bertoia chair

One of my proudest Craigslist/FB Marketplace accomplishments was successfully doing this. I first had my eye out after watching the Netflix series “One Day” (the heroine has one in her home office); eventually spotted a listing for two faux Bertoia chairs; sussed out that one looked actually maybe quite possibly authentic; secured it at a serious discount; and then befriended the seller, who later followed up to say he checked with his ex, a vintage furniture dealer, and she confirmed that mine was, indeed, the real McCoy.
