This magical homestay in Jiufen, Taiwan

This town allegedly provided the inspo for the “Spirited Away” bathhouse. If you go, I highly recommend staying the night - after hours and early morning the town finally gets very calm, when the constant stream of daytime tourist buses is done. Such a remarkable home to stay in, too; I think about it all the time.
